Woods Aitken is delighted to announce that Karen B. Rogers has joined the Firm as a partner in its growing Denver office. In addition, Lena A. Lucas has been named a partner in the Firm.
Karen B. Rogers brings with her an extensive litigation background and expertise in complex construction defect litigation and employment law matters. Karen is passionate about helping businesses, large and small, navigate critical business decisions to either avoid litigation or help ensure favorable outcomes. This includes assisting companies with preventative employment law issues or negotiations in construction contracts.
Karen received her J.D. from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. She earned her B.A. from the University of Delaware.
Lena A. Lucas is a member of the Firm’s business services, construction law, financial institutions, and real estate practice groups. She focuses her practice on the representation of construction and business clients in a variety of ways including the formation and organization of limited liability companies, corporations, and other business entities. Lena provides counsel on best practices for startup organization, business reorganization, mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing, corporate governance, and succession planning. For her real estate clients, she advises on leasing, acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial property. Lena is uniquely qualified to help clients navigate their business needs and to guide clients effectively through a broad range of complex transactions.
Lucas received her J.D. with distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law. She obtained her B.A. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
