Lena A. Lucas

Lena Lucas is a member of the firm’s business services, construction law, financial institutions, and real estate practice groups. She focuses her practice on the representation of construction and business clients in a variety of ways including the formation and organization of limited liability companies, corporations, and other business entities. Lena provides counsel on best practices for startup organization, business reorganization, mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing, corporate governance, and succession planning to help minimize risks and realize opportunities. For her real estate clients, she advises on leasing, acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial property. 

Lena previously worked with the firm in their Lincoln office and rejoined Woods Aitken in 2023 as a member of the firm’s Denver office. In her current role, Lena is uniquely qualified to help clients navigate their business needs and to guide clients effectively through a broad range of complex transactions.

Lena grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, and attended undergraduate and law school at the University of Nebraska. She remains an active member of the Denver area community and has served as a volunteer and board member to numerous nonprofit organizations focused on youth sports and education.
