The NSBA Real Estate Practice Guidelines Committee has completed a review and update of the Nebraska Title Standards. The update includes both new standards and updates to existing standards.
Mike Matejka, partner at Woods Aitken and Committee Chair on the effort, noted, “This project was possible because of the generosity and experience of many of Nebraska’s best real estate lawyers. The Title Standards are always a work in progress, and there’s more to be done even in the coming year, but we’ve come a long way toward bringing the standards in line with current law and practice.”
The book is available for purchase from the Nebraska State Bar Association.
