Woods Aitken is delighted to announce that Kaylen K. Fleming and Audrey R. Svane have recently joined the firm as associates. The additions come as the firm continues to grow, with attorney numbers totaling 32 across offices in Lincoln, Omaha, Denver, and Washington, D.C.
Fleming joins the firm’s transactional department, practicing in the areas of banking, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, business entity, and estate planning. Fleming graduated cum laude from Creighton University School of Law in 2015, where she was president of the Student Bar Association, senior lead articles editor for the Creighton Law Review, and a member of the Moot Court Board.
Svane joins the firm’s litigation group, focusing her practice on the areas of construction law, personal injury, and commercial litigation. Svane is a 2015 graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law, where she was named to both the Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers. During law school, Audrey was a problem writer for the Moot Court Board and a member of the National Trial Team. She also had the opportunity to advise and represent low-income clients in a variety of civil cases as a student attorney in a civil clinical law program.
Both Fleming and Svane clerked for Woods & Aitken prior to joining as associates.
